The idea behind the launching of Zakonitost (Legality) journal was to provide a journal of professional and scientific orientation in which the published papers would contribute to the development of legal thought, science and practice both in the Republic of Croatia and beyond, primarily through the strength of the arguments presented in professional papers.

The journal is intended for all legal practitioners (judiciary, attorneys, administration and economists) and legal scholars as potential readers and authors, as well as for all the others.

The Editor-in-Chief of the journal is Tin Matić, Ph.D., the Deputy Editor-in-Chief is Mr. Mladen Sučević, while the Executive Editor of the journal is Mrs Nives Frei Bingula.
